  • jin shin jyutsu | jin-shin-jyutsu

Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient art of healing or, better expressed, an art of living which can be practiced by anyone. Simply by placing your hands on specific zones of your body - the safety energy locks - it is possible to balance disharmony. This is something we often do instinctively when we place our hands on a part of our body which hurts. Jin Shin Jyutsu is therefore intuitive knowledge and it is certainly one of the most primal and effortless healing methods working with body energy. The hands are simply placed on the body: there is no need to remove any clothes and no pressure, massage or physical effort is involved. That is why Jin Shin Jyutsu can easily be integrated into everyday life: in the train, the cinema, the concert hall or theatre, in front of the television or in waiting rooms. The possibilities are endless. By placing our hands on our body, we can keep our energy system flowing, allowing the harmonization of body, mind and spirit. This causes the body to regenerate itself. The aim of every Jin Shin Jyutsu application is to achieve perfect harmony. All oriental healing methods are based on the premise that the body is an intricate network of energy paths (meridians) which link up and interact with all processes in the body. addresses nearby The safety energy locks within this system act like sluice gates in a river or fuses in an electric circuit. At the same time, they are also the areas where we can use our hands to restore the flow of energy. There are records of the existence of Jin Shin Jyutsu long before Christ. This healing method was rediscovered at the beginning of the 20th century by Jiro Murai in Japan. He shared his knowledge with Mary Burmeister, who brought this ancient art to the US. The Jin Shin Jyutsu we practice today is based on her studies, notations and teaching. There are several different ways of getting to know and apply the art of Jin Shin Jyutsu. One possibility is to attend self-help courses, where you will learn about the importance of the safety energy locks and the flow of energy. Practicing Jin Shin Jyutsu daily will help us to consciously choose and apply our techniques. That is to say, we learn to listen to ourselves and our own intuition. On the other hand, depending on your own personal situation, it may be preferable to consult an experienced professional practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu who will be able to identify the needs of your body for harmonization. He or she will apply one or more techniques that will get you off to a good start for your future application of Jin Shin Jyutsu. self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu is an ancient art of healing or, better expressed, an art of living which can be practiced by anyone. • Selbsthilfe | jin-shin-jyutsu

It's very easy to practice Jin Shin Jyutsu on your own. Perhaps that's why it can be so powerful. And we are working with innate knowledge, which everybody uses intuitively anyway. You find that hard to believe? Well, don't we all sometimes place our hands on sensitive areas of our body such as the stomach or the shoulder, or on aching joints after we have been sitting too long in front of the computer? We do this in an attempt to obtain relief. With Jin Shin Jyutsu we can use this impulse and work with it more purposefully if we first gain an overview of the correlations within our body. For this reason there are several different types of self-help class, lasting one or two days, depending on the preference of the teacher. But knowledge on its own won't get you very far. It's up to you to apply that knowledge. Jin Shin Jyutsu works only by doing. And you can practice it anywhere, whether you are sitting or standing, as long as your hands are free. Have a go and try to hold your thumb as often as possible as shown on the drawing! courses in your neighbourhood

There are several ways to learn Jin Shin Jyutsu. You go to a bookshop or library and see which book appeals to you. Then apply the hands-ons as explained or shown there. Some practitioners offer selfhelp groups. People meet there regularly and apply Jin Shin Jyutsu on specific topics under guidance. The address list indicates which practitioners offer such services. You go to a self-help course. There, educated and authorized practitioners show and explain how you can use Jin Shin Jyutsu for yourself, using Mary Burmeister's self-help books 1 to 3. You will learn about the safety energy locks and where they are located. You go to a 5-day class. Only certified teachers teach here and the material goes in depth and breadth. Many connections are explained on the base of Textbooks I and II by Mary Burmeister. It is possible to start directly with a 5-day class. From experience, I recommend only attending such a class when you already know where the 26 safety energy locks are and what the depths are all about. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. adresses self-help courses classes for practitioner
